What is the level of experience aBC Cutting offers to Clients?

A: Each of our divisions has been established since 1991 and is staffed with several operators who have decades of experience with our company. Our management and sales teams primarily consist of former operators promoted through the ranks. Safety is our top priority on every jobsite, supported by our extensive familiarity with the equipment, processes, and jobsite procedures. Believe us when we say we're the company that your neighbors and community call upon.

Q: Will you work for out-of-town contractors?

A: Yes, but we do take a few precautions if we haven’t already worked with you in any of our other divisions. To protect ourselves and you, we request a credit line to be set up. For small projects, we do accept credit cards. Please contact us for more information.

Q: What Is Your Credit Approval Process?

A: In order to be approved for credit, we require you to follow the below processes:

  • Complete a credit application with references

  • A credit check completed by ABC Cutting

  • We request a signed quotation for work and/or contract

  • The amount must be approved by our management

Q: How Far Will You Travel For A Project? Where Will You Travel To?

A: While most ABC Cutting jobs are within 100 miles of our office, ABC Cutting will travel as far as necessary to meet our customer’s needs, although depending on the scope and size of a project, we may find it impractical for us to participate in your project.

Q: Can you cut material other than concrete?

A: Yes. Although ABC Cutting specializes in concrete, we can cut through brick, asphalt, steel, wood, refractory brick, and solid granite. ABC Cutting cannot cut through ground frost. If your project requires Ground Penetrating Radar this will be done prior to ABC Cutting.

Q: Can you drill a hole upside down or on an angle?

A: Yes, ABC Cutting has a drilling rig that can be set up to operate upside down and can be adjusted to drill on any angle.

Q: What is the deepest hole you can drill?

A: With the drilling equipment presently in ABC Cutting inventory, the depth of a hole is almost unlimited. The deepest hole ABC Cutting has drilled is 120'

Q: Do you have to use water when sawing?

A: No, it is possible to saw without water. However, when sawing dry, dust can be difficult to control.

Q: How deep can you saw on a wall?

A: ABC Cutting is currently able to cut 30" deep, which allows us to cut through a wall 60" thick. If, however, ABC Cutting, has a request for a deeper cut, larger blades are available and would be purchased to handle the job.

Q: Can you saw on a ceiling?

A: Yes, ceiling sawing, as well as sawing at odd angles, is well within ABC Cutting capabilities.

Q: How deep can you saw on a floor?

A: As with wall sawing, ABC Cutting has the ability to cut 30" deep. Larger blades can be purchased if deeper cutting is required.

Q: How close can you cut to an adjacent wall?

A: ABC Cutting is able to cut flush to the wall.

Q: Do you have any specialized sawing applications?

A: ABC Cutting is able to groove floors to improve traction in slippery areas, grind the surface of slabs to eliminate uneven floor surfaces, and create rumble strips to slow traffic.

Q: Can you install bumper posts?

A: Yes, and we stock all necessary components.
